Piping Design Engineer

I''m currently working on an exciting contract opportunity for a Piping Designer to support their engineering team.

This is a strong opportunity to work on real-world industrial systems, focusing on piping layouts and flow control equipment across high-spec projects.

Role: Piping Designer (Plant 3D / Inventor)
Location: Remote
Rate: -55 per hour
Contract: 3-6 months
Key Responsibilities:

• Produce 3D piping layouts using Plant 3D or Inventor
• Generate GA drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings
• Design pipe routing, supports, and equipment layouts
• Work closely with mechanical and project engineers
• Interpret P&IDs and ensure designs meet industry standards

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in piping / plant design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Autodesk Inventor
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings
• Ability to work within industrial environments (oil & gas, water, or similar preferred)
