Key Responsibilities
Design & Analysis

Piping:
-
Design pipe networks (process, utility, HVAC) using-CAESAR II-for stress analysis.
-
Specify materials (carbon steel, stainless, duplex) per-BS EN 13480-(pressure piping).
-
Create-P&IDs,-isometrics, and-GA drawings.
-

Structural:
-
Design steel supports, pipe racks, and foundations to-BS EN 1993 (Eurocode 3).
-
Perform load calculations (wind, seismic, operational) for EXC2-EXC4 classes (BS EN 1090).
-
Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure-PSSR 2000-(Pressure Systems Safety Regulations) compliance.
-
Implement-CDM 2015-duties (eliminate structural/piping hazards during design).
-
Adhere to-ATEX/DSEAR-for hazardous zones.
Site Support
-
Resolve fabrication/installation issues (e.g., clashes, weld procedures).
-
Oversee-welding compliance-(BS EN ISO 5817) and-bolt torqueing.
-
Review-LOLER-lifting plans for heavy pipe sections.
Documentation
-
Produce-technical specifications,-MTOs-(Material Take-Offs), and-risk assessments.

Manage-as-built drawings-and-handover packs.
