A leading combustion and commercial heating engineering company is seeking a Pipefitter’s Mate to join its installation team working across London.
You will assist experienced pipefitters and engineers delivering commercial plant room refurbishment and installation projects, including heating and gas systems within commercial and industrial buildings.
The Role

- Assisting with installation of commercial pipework systems within plant rooms
- Supporting refurbishment and upgrade works on heating and mechanical systems
- Working with a range of materials including steel, copper and threaded pipework
- Assisting with installation of pumps, valves and plant room equipment
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements

- Previous experience working as a Pipefitter’s Mate or Mechanical Mate
- Experience on commercial plant rooms or mechanical installations preferred
- Ability to work across London sites
- Full UK driving licence desirable
- Must have NVQ/City and guilds in Plumbing/Heating and ventilation.

- £36,000–£37,000 basic salary
- Company van and fuel card
