The role involves both pipefitting and welding duties, working with a range of materials and technical drawings to ensure reliable plant operation. Key responsibilities as a Pipefitter Welder include: Performing pipefitting, fabrication, and installation of industrial pipe systems. Welding using TIG and MIG methods on carbon steel, stainless steel, and galvanised pipework. Reading and interpreting engineering and isometric drawings to fabricate, cut, and fit accurately. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and pipework systems. Isolating, dismantling, and removing redundant or damaged pipework safely.
