ARM is recruiting for an experienced Pipe Quality Inspector to join a major carbon capture and storage (CCS) project on Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of pipe materials on one of the UK''s flagship energy transition projects.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for inspecting pipe materials, identifying damage or quality issues, and ensuring all equipment is received, stored and handled in accordance with project and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections of pipe materials prior to installation.
- Verify that all delivered materials are free from damage and accompanied by the correct documentation.
- Identify, record and report any damage or discrepancies, coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection and subcontractor service records.
- Raise Service Entries and Work Orders to support project processes and payment approvals.
- Liaise with supply chain, logistics and client representatives to coordinate the movement of materials.
- Ensure all activities comply with project quality, safety and client standards.
About You
- Minimum 6 years'' experience as a Pipe Quality Inspector, Pipe Inspector or in a similar pipe quality role on major construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of pipe coating inspection and quality requirements.
- Experience working on large EPC, oil & gas, energy, petrochemical or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with logistics, quality and supply chain teams.
