Pipe Fitter / WelderLocation: Hertfordshire / Essex border areaSalary: £22.00 £27.00 per hour, depending on experienceHours: 40 hours per weekJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder to join an established engineering business on a permanent basis.The RoleYou will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and welding of stainless-steel pipework and associated assemblies.Key responsibilities:Stainless-steel manual and orbital TIG weldingPipe fitting, fabrication and assemblyWorking from fabrication and process drawingsFabricating stainless-steel frameworks and bracketsCutting, grinding and drilling stainless-steel componentsCompleting weld logs and quality documentationAssembly of pipework, valves, pumps and associated componentsSupporting onsite installation and maintenance when requiredWorking safely and maintaining high-quality standardsRequirementsPrevious experience in pipe fitting and/or TIG weldingStainless-steel welding experienceAbility to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawingsCompetent with hand and powered toolsTIG welding certification is desirable but not essentialReliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a teamThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering £22 £27 per hour, depending on experience.If you have the relevant experience and are interested in the opportunity, apply today with your CV. ..... full job details .....
