Pipe Fitter Welder

BFE Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter Welder for an established engineering company in Ashton-under-Lyne.-

We are looking for somebody with substantial hands-on pipe fitting and pipe welding experience,-with particular experience using-MMA / Stick welding.

This is not predominantly a structural steel, RSJ, flat bar or plate welding position.-

The Role:

• Pipe fitting and welding-
• MMA / Stick welding
• Working predominantly with mild steel
• Measuring, preparing, fitting and alligning pipework-
• MIG may also be used where required-

What we are looking for:

• Strong previous experience working with pipe
• Proven MMA / Stick welding experience-
• Experience as both a welder and pipe fitter
• Ability to work accurately from relevant drawings and specifications-
• Previous industrial fabrications / engineering experience-

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30
• Friday: 07:45 - 13:45
• 39 hours per week
• Paid breaks-

Pay:

• Up to -18.00 per hour, dependent on experience-
