Job Profile for Pipe Fitter / Welder 46208Pipe FitterLocation: Alness, Scottish HighlandsSalary: Up to £18.50 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (45 hours per week)OverviewWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter with welding experience on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.This is a great opportunity to join a busy workshop and site-based environment, working on the installation, fabrication, and assembly of pipework systems across a range of projects.Key Responsibilities Installation and assembly of pipework systems from engineering drawings and isometrics Cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipes to required specifications Carrying out MIG and/or TIG welding on pipework where required Working with a range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys Supporting fabrication and installation activities both in the workshop and on-site Ensuring all work is completed to required quality and safety standards Conducting pressure testing and inspections where required Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlinesRequirements Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Welding experience (MIG and/or TIG preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and pipe isometrics Strong understanding of pipework systems and installation methods Good awareness of health and safety practices Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to deadlinesDesirable Relevant pipe fitting or ..... full job details .....
