Your Role and Impact as a Pipe Fitter:
As a key Pipe Fitter, you''ll be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of installation and repair for critical systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Measuring and marking pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools.
Repairing systems using diverse welding and plumbing techniques.
Attaching pipes to structures and bending them into position.
Sealing routes of pipework to eliminate water ingress.
Performing tests on your work or others'' work to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints.
Reading and interpreting specifications to plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles.
You''ll ensure health and safety and employee wellbeing are always prioritised in Manchester.
Is This Role for You?
We''re looking for a Pipe Fitter with previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter and an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process. You''ll need to have your own transportation or be able to reliably travel to the site in Manchester. Experience as a Pipe Welder is highly desirable.
