PIP 2 Investigator - Hate Crime Investigations Location: Ashton-under-Lyne Pay Rate: 20.84 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Contract: Initial 12-Month Contract (with potential extension up to 3 years) Number of Posts: 8 Join a Specialist Investigation Team We are currently recruiting for 8 experienced PIP 2 Investigators to support a specialist policing team responsible for investigating antisemitic and other priority hate crime offences. This is an excellent opportunity for accredited investigators to play a key role in protecting vulnerable communities and delivering a high-quality investigative response to serious and complex hate crime matters. The team works closely with established Investigation Teams, Neighbourhood Policing Teams, criminal justice partners, and specialist agencies to ensure thorough, victim-focused investigations and positive outcomes. The Role As a PIP 2 Investigator, you will be responsible for managing investigations from initial report through to final outcome, ensuring all enquiries are conducted professionally, proportionately, and in accordance with investigative best practice.
