PIP Clinical Assessor – Bournemouth (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 + Bonus Opportunities

Everpool Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare organisation for PIP Clinical Assessors in Bournemouth. You’ll use your professional knowledge to assess how individuals’ health conditions and disabilities affect their daily lives, producing detailed, evidence-based reports.

The Role:

  • Conduct PIP assessments through telephone, video and face-to-face appointments.
  • Explore how health conditions affect daily living and mobility.
  • Review medical evidence and gather detailed clinical histories.
  • Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement.
  • Produce accurate, objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions.
  • No hands-on treatment or shift work.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Occupational Therapist (HCPC)
  • Physiotherapist (HCPC)
  • Paramedic (HCPC)
  • Pharmacist (GPhC)
  • Minimum 12 months of post-registration clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and make evidence-based judgements.

Important Training Information:

Training is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, and may require attendance at the local office once or twice per week. Annual leave cannot be taken during the first six weeks of training.

Please Note: This is a clinically focused role involving detailed assessments, clinical reasoning and evidence-based report writing. Previous Functional Assessor experience is not required, but you must have relevant clinical experience and be confident documenting your professional findings.

Eligibility Requirements:

This position is specifically for the registered healthcare professions listed above. Applications from Social Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Receptionists, Administrators or other non-registered professions will not meet the eligibility requirements.
