Picking Line Operative Location: Dinnington, Sheffield Pay: £12.71 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Rotating shifts No shift allowanceThe Role We are looking for Picking Line Operatives to join a busy metal recycling and processing facility in Dinnington, Sheffield.Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for manually sorting materials as they pass along the picking line, removing unwanted materials and ensuring the correct materials continue through the recycling process.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role and would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working on their feet.Key Responsibilities Working on a moving picking lineManually sorting and separating materialsIdentifying and removing unwanted materialsMaintaining good quality and accuracyWorking safely around industrial machineryKeeping the work area clean and tidyFollowing site health and safety proceduresWorking as part of a team to meet production requirementsReporting any issues or hazards to the supervisorSupporting other areas of the operation when required About You Previous experience in recycling, production, manufacturing or warehouse work is beneficial but not essentialComfortable working on your feet for extended periodsReliable and punctualHardworking with a good attitudeAble to work at a consistent paceGood attention to detailPhysically capable of a hands-on roleComfortable working in an industrial environmentWilling to work rotating shifts ..... full job details .....
