Picker/Packer Warehouse Operative

PICKER / PACKER - WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE-

My Client based in Wickford Essex is looking for an experienced picker / packer warehouse person to join there busy team-

Main purpose of the role:-Picking and packing orders across various departments and shift patterns, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:-

Reading and marking picking lists, Completing jobs within a reasonable timeframe

Locating stock using location codes, Warehouse maintenance (ensuring clear stock locations and a tidy warehouse), Weighing and counting large quantities of stock

Labelling products, Packing and palletising various jobs ready for dispatch.

Checking orders., Communicating with other departments. (including use of phone)

Working across multiple departments.,Identifying location errors.

Stripping pallets., Other ad-hoc warehouse duties.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:-

Good communication skills., Attention to detail.

Access to mobile phone applications for time keeping.

Must be able to routinely lift boxes up to 25kg.

Must be comfortable using a ladder.

Basic knowledge of Health & Safety.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be a trustworthy, reliable, team player
