Picker Packer

gap personnel is recruiting for an experienced Picker Packer for our client''s busy distribution warehouse in Wickford. This role requires a high level of dexterity, accuracy and strong attention to detail, working at pace with heavy lifting. 

Role: Picker Packer 

Location: Wickford SS11 - Own transport is required, due to location, and limited bus routes. 

Hours: Mon - Fri 08.00-17.00

pay: £12.71

Duties:-

• Picking and packing orders from pick lists, across various departments to a high standard

• Locating stock using location codes

• General warehouse maintenance (keeping stock locations clear and tidy)

• Weighing and counting large quantities of stock

• Labelling, Packing and palletising orders ready for dispatch

• Checking orders for accuracy

• Communicating with other departments

• Stripping pallets

• Other general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience:-

• Previous picker/packer experience

• Good communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to routinely lift boxes up to 25kg

• Comfortable using ladders

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
