Picker

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Order Picker to join a busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for ongoing, full-time work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch while ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders using pick sheets or handheld scanners
• Accurately selecting products and quantities in line with order requirements
• Preparing orders for dispatch and securely stacking goods where required
• Checking products for quality and reporting any damages or discrepancies
• Assisting with stock movement and general warehouse duties
• Operating pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

Pay Rate

• -12.71 per hour
