Full-Time Physics Teacher Required - Outstanding Southampton School (September 2025 Start - Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Essential) Our outstanding school in the vibrant city of Southampton seeks a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Teacher of Physics to join our thriving Science department and make a profound difference to the scientific understanding, analytical prowess, and experimental capabilities of our students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and, crucially, Key Stage 5, commencing in September 2025. Key Responsibilities Include: Planning, preparing, and delivering highly effective and stimulating Physics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and aspirations of our students across all key stages. Fostering students'' deep understanding of key physical concepts, theories, and problem-solving techniques, with a strong emphasis on the comprehensive demands of the A-Level specifications. Encouraging rigorous analytical thinking, the construction of well-supported scientific arguments, and confident practical experimentation and data analysis. Assessing and tracking student progress in Physics across all key stages, providing insightful and constructive feedback, and implementing effective intervention strategies to ensure exceptional outcomes, particularly for A-Level students.
