About the Role:
A progressive and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate Physics Teacher to join their dynamic Science department from September 2025. You will inspire and engage Key Stage 3 and 4 students with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and department needs.
You will be central to raising achievement in Physics, fostering scientific curiosity, and promoting a positive, student-focused learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Physics lessons that ignite curiosity and critical thinking
Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learner needs and abilities
Use assessment and feedback effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and intervention programs
Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high standards of behaviour
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong Physics subject knowledge
Experience or enthusiasm to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
Commitment to inclusive education and excellent classroom practice
