Physics Teacher – Easter 2026 Start
Location: Aylesbury
Contract: Full-Time | Temp to Perm
Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (dependent on experience)

A forward-thinking, high-performing secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Physics Teacher to join its established Science department from Easter 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive and aspirational school environment.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Physics teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Physics for a suitably experienced teacher. The school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, student wellbeing, and professional development.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging, high-impact Physics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum

  • Plan, assess, and track progress to ensure strong student outcomes

  • Implement adaptive teaching strategies to support SEN, EAL, and higher-attaining students

  • Provide targeted intervention to support GCSE exam preparation and attainment

  • Contribute to enrichment activities including STEM clubs, educational visits, and competitions

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds QTS with experience teaching Physics at secondary level

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education

  • Has excellent classroom management and behaviour for learning strategies

  • Is organised, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development
