Principal Education is currently recruiting a qualified Physics Teacher (QTS) for a well-regarded secondary school in the Tower Hamlets area. This is a full-time teaching opportunity starting April 2026, offering pay in line with the Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale, depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics specialist who is passionate about inspiring students and delivering high-quality science education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3–5

  • Support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations

  • Contribute to the wider Science department and curriculum development

  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Degree in Physics or a closely related subject

  • Experience teaching Physics at secondary school level

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
