Physics Teacher

An enthusiastic and highly qualified Physics Teacher is sought to join a forward-thinking Independent school in Haringey, commencing a permanent full-time position in September. The successful candidate will have a passion for unlocking the mysteries of the universe for students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (ages 11-18), fostering a strong foundation in physical principles.

Responsibilities

• They will design and deliver inspiring Physics lessons that align with the Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 curricula.
• The role involves expertly guiding students through fundamental concepts, from mechanics to electromagnetism.
• They will cultivate an engaging and challenging learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the physical world.
• Tracking student progress through effective assessment and providing clear feedback to support their development in Physics will be crucial.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background is essential.
• Experience teaching Physics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 is highly desirable.
• A thorough understanding of physical principles and a commitment to innovative teaching methods are expected.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage practical experiments effectively are necessary.
