Science TechnicianLocation: Milton KeynesStart Date: September 2026Hours: 37 Hours per Week Term Time OnlySalary: £21,261 Actual Annual Salary (Permanent)Temporary Rate: £90 - £105 per DayWe are seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes from September.This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of the Science Department, providing essential technical support to teaching staff and helping to ensure practical lessons run smoothly and safely.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00am - 3:50pmFriday: 8:00am - 3:20pm37 hours per weekTerm time onlyThe RoleAs a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons by:Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical experimentsMaintaining laboratory equipment and resourcesEnsuring health and safety procedures are followedManaging stock levels and ordering supplies when requiredSupporting teaching staff with practical lesson preparationKeeping laboratories organised, clean, and safeThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has a background in Science (desirable but not essential)Has experience working in a Science department, school laboratory, or similar environment (advantageous)Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectivelyHas strong attention to detailCan work independently as well as part of a teamIs committed to supporting high-quality teaching and learningWhether you ..... full job details .....
