Physical Education (PE) Teacher - Experienced in Behavioural Support
About the Role We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join the team at Orminston Beachcroft Primary School. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with behavioural needs. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons while supporting pupils who may present with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. You will play a key role in promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, and emotional regulation through sport and structured physical activity. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons tailored to a range of abilities and behavioural needs Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Use sport and physical activity as tools to support emotional development and behaviour management Apply positive behaviour strategies and effective de-escalation techniques Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and participation Contribute to extracurricular sports programmes and enrichment activities Candidate Requirements Experience delivering PE or sports coaching to primary-aged children Proven experience working with children with behavioural, social, or emotional needs Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent ..... full job details .....
