Mid-Level PHP Developer - Laravel/CakePHPBasingstoke (Hybrid - 1 day onsite per week)£40,000 - £55,000 per annumOverviewA growing organisation is looking for an experienced Mid-level PHP Developer to join their technology team, supporting the development and improvement of business-critical CRM applications.Working within a cross-functional Scrum team, this role will deliver new functionality, improve existing systems, and support the continued evolution of applications to meet changing business needs.This is an opportunity for a skilled PHP Developer to work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-quality software solutions alongside developers, QA, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.Roles andamp; ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Back End applications using PHP, Laravel, and CakePHP.Deliver features across development, testing, and deployment.Maintain and enhance existing and Legacy CakePHP applications.Build and support APIs and Back End services.Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.Support system design, integrations, and technical improvements.Work within Agile teams and collaborate with wider technology teams.Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and reduce technical debt.Skills andamp; Experience3+ years of commercial PHP development experience.Strong experience with PHP 7.4/CakePHP and PHP 8+/Laravel/Symfony.Experience developing Back End systems and ..... full job details .....
