PHP DeveloperBasingstoke (Hybrid - 1 day onsite per week)£40,000 - £55,000 per annumOverviewA growing organisation is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join their internal technology team, supporting the development and enhancement of business-critical CRM applications.Working within a cross-functional Scrum team, this role will deliver new functionality, improve existing systems, and support the continued evolution of applications to meet changing business needs.This is an opportunity for a skilled PHP Developer to work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-quality software solutions alongside developers, QA, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.Roles andamp; ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Back End systems using PHP (Laravel/CakePHP).Deliver features end-to-end, including development, testing, and deployment.Enhance existing applications, including Legacy CakePHP systems.Build and maintain APIs and Back End services.Write clean, maintainable code following development standards and best practices.Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.Support system design, integrations, and technical improvements.Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with wider technology teams.Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and reduce technical debt.Skills andamp; Experience3+ years'' commercial experience in PHP development.Strong experience with PHP 7.4 (CakePHP) and PHP 8+ (Laravel/Symfony).Experience ..... full job details .....
