About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of an established and reputable print solutions provider who is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join their technical team. The successful candidate will support the installation, maintenance, repair and optimisation of multifunction printers (MFPs), photocopiers and print management solutions across a varied customer base. This is a fabulous opportunity for hardware FSEs to diversify into solutions ! This field-based role covers Warwickshire /Leicestershire / Northampton , working with leading manufacturers devices. You will attend customer sites, ensuring devices operate reliably, efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards. A full UK driving licence is essential due to regular travel. Key ResponsibilitiesService and Maintenance Diagnose and repair faults on MFDs, photocopiers, printers and related print infrastructure. Carry out preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines. Install, configure and commission new print devices. Replace parts, consumables and assemblies as required. Perform firmware upgrades and device updates. Technical Support Troubleshoot print quality, scanning, connectivity and configuration issues. Configure devices for network printing, scan-to-email, scan-to-folder and cloud workflows. Support print management solutions such as PaperCut or uniFLOW.
