Technical Services Engineer / Photocopier Location: Swindon and Surrounding Region Overview We are recruiting for an experienced, proactive, and customer-focused Photocopier / Technical Services Engineer to join a growing technical team within a well-established Managed Print and IT Services organisation. This is a field-based role (van provided) with responsibility for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of multi-functional devices (MFDs) with a strong emphasis on Ricoh equipment, including production print devices. Alongside managed print duties, you will also provide basic technical support across wider IT services, including customer infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, and endpoint technologies. You''ll work closely with IT Support, print engineering, helpdesk, sales, and admin teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will attend customer sites across the region and provide office-based support from the Swindon HQ when required. A Day in the LifeManaged Print Responsibilities Install, configure and commission Ricoh MFDs and production print equipment. Diagnose, repair and maintain Ricoh photocopiers and printers to manufacturer standards. Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing. Respond to customer service requests within agreed SLAs. Perform firmware upgrades and software updates.
