Philanthropy Officer

Role Overview: The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Philanthropy Officer role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile appeal, managing trust and foundation relationships to secure vital donations and support strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to secure donations of up to £20,000 from trusts, foundations, and City Livery Companies. Prepare and submit compelling funding applications aligned with funder guidelines and organisational needs. Manage reporting obligations by drafting reports that showcase project impacts and meet funder expectations. Maintain strong relationships with supporters through meetings, visits, and networking events, including helipad visits. Organise scheduled mailings for small trusts, ensuring deadlines and templates are consistently met. Update and maintain accurate records of income and activity within the organisation''s CRM system. Support the implementation and testing of the new CRM system, embedding it within team processes. Assist with donor stewardship activities to foster ongoing support, especially for key partnerships. Person Specification: Proven experience in trust fundraising with a track record in securing new relationships and donations. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with an ability to prioritise effectively. Strong written skills, capable of creating engaging proposals and reports.
