Client Details

  • Work with the Chief Executive, Trustees and senior leadership team to cultivate relationships through tailored meetings, briefings, visits and donor events.
  • Identify, research and qualify new prospects, responding promptly to introductions from advocates, landowners, professional advisers and existing supporters.
  • Create compelling proposals, cases for support, personalised communications, impact reports and supporter updates.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the charity to gather the stories, evidence and insight needed to inspire potential funders.
  • Manage the donor pipeline, income forecasts, reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring commitments and restrictions are understood and delivered.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, applications and activity using the charity''s CRM system, Donorfy, and provide regular performance updates.
  • Contribute to Fields in Trust''s income generation strategy and ensure fundraising, prospect research, donor due diligence and gift acceptance comply with relevant requirements and policies.

Profile

  • A natural relationship-builder who is warm, confident, personable and skilled at making people feel valued.
  • Experience of building strong relationships and networks with high-net-worth clients or supporters.
  • Experience of managing high-value relationships through the full donor journey.
  • A clear understanding of the differences between commercial and philanthropic relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling proposals, cases for support or tailored funding submissions.
  • Curious and proactive, with the initiative to identify opportunities and follow up quickly.
