PhD-level Inventor - Optics and Acoustics Are you a recent or upcoming PhD graduate who is interested in the development of new technology? Newton Colmore is working with a market-leading tech company who is looking for a talented engineer/physicist to work on next generation imaging technology. Within this company, you will be working on highly complex imaging research, involving image segmentation hardware, signal processing techniques, transducer design and optical systems development. This role will be at the front end of research and development and will give you an opportunity to work on brand new ideas and run with them through the experimental phase and readying the product for launch. This will include building your own prototypes, experiments, test rigs, and more, as you make meaningful progress through the development lifecycle. The company will offer you support and mentoring as you make your transition from academia into industry and you will be joining a well-established team of inventors, who will provide everything you need to make a success of this role.
