Job Title: Band 6 Pharmacy Technician ACT Technician Location: Luton/ Dunstable Bedfordshire areas Contract: Full-time, 3-6 Month (with possible extension) About the Role: Tripod Partners are seeking a qualified ACT Pharmacy Technician with experience with current ward experience to join an NHS service based in either Luton/ Dunstable or Bedfordshire areas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with the potential for contract extension based on performance and service needs. Key Duties: Accurately check and release dispensed medications in line with ACT accreditation and Trust policies. Support safe and efficient medication supply across inpatient, outpatient, and discharge services. Work collaboratively with clinical pharmacists and nursing staff to support medicines management on hospital wards. Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits, ensuring compliance with governance and patient safety standards. Essential Criteria: Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification. Previous experience working in an NHS pharmacy setting. Experience working in ward-based hospital pharmacy services. Available to work on-site, Monday to Friday.
