Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) A growing UK laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to support the safe and compliant manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Working closely with the Lab Manager and Compounding Pharmacist, you will play a key role in ensuring treatments are produced to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform accuracy and quality checks on manufactured batches against specificationsVerify calculations, raw material data, and electronic batch recordsInvestigate manufacturing deviations and non-conformancesSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for failed batches or near missesConduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and equipmentMaintain accurate batch documentation and SOPsAssist with internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance activitiesEnsure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirementsRequirementsAccredited Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualificationActive registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)Knowledge of GMP and regulated laboratory environmentsStrong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skillsExperience with quality systems, near miss reporting, and process improvementButtercups mentoring experience (desirable)Application If you''re a qualified Accuracy Checking Technician looking to play an important role in maintaining the highest ..... full job details .....
