Pharmacy Assistant - Antrim (Immediate Start) Location: Antrim Duration: Up to 6 months initially Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week Salary: £12.71 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Antrim. Working under the supervision of Senior Assistants, Technicians, and Pharmacists, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and responsive pharmacy service to meet customer and patient needs. Training and Development The successful candidate may be required to undertake the Pearson Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff, delivered at South Eastern Regional College (Bangor/Lisburn campus) one day per month over 12 months. Additional self-directed study will also be required. Key Responsibilities Receive, check, and store pharmacy stock in line with SOPs Accurately process deliveries using the EPIC system Support ward "top-up" services, including stock rotation and expiry management Assemble and distribute ward orders, requisitions, and bulk issues Maintain pharmacy stock levels and assist with stock checks Provide excellent customer service at reception and via telephone Dispense and pre-pack medicines in line with procedures Assist with supply and distribution of pharmaceuticals, dressings, and vaccines Deliver medications and supplies to wards and departments Process returned stock in accordance with procedures Support aseptic unit ..... full job details .....
