Job Description: Inpatient Pharmacy Assistant Oxford Road Campus, Manchester M13 9WL Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Band 2 £12.92/hr Full time Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 Temporary placement up to 12 weeks Join our Inpatient Pharmacy Team MFT are looking for a reliable, motivated and detail-focused Inpatient Pharmacy Assistant to join their Pharmacy Dispensary Team at the Oxford Road Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing a safe, efficient and high-quality pharmacy service to patients. You will work as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of pharmaceutical care across the Trust. About the role As an Inpatient Pharmacy Assistant, you will work within the pharmacy dispensary service to support the safe and accurate supply of medicines to patients. Your role will include: Assisting with the dispensing and supply of medicines in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and local guidelines. Interpreting prescriptions and accurately dispensing medicines. Supporting the preparation and manipulation of pharmaceutical products. Ordering, receiving and replenishing pharmacy stock. Responding to requests for urgent and emergency medication supplies. Providing a professional and helpful service to patients, visitors, ward staff and pharmacy colleagues.
