Microscopy and Particle Characterisation Scientist Location: Wirral Hours: 35 hours, Monday-Friday £32,000 CIRCA Russell Taylor is working with a global testing company; who are looking to recruit for an experienced Scientist (particle size, microscopy etc); the company are expanding and it''s a great time to join this growing business. This is a hands-on laboratory role involving particle size analysis, microscopy, material characterisation and analytical testing. You''ll be hands-on in the laboratory, carrying out a range of physical and analytical testing across pharmaceutical materials, supporting development and investigative work.Your experience may include: • Particle size analysis • Microscopy and morphology assessment • Powder flow characterisation • BET / surface area testing • Physical testing of pharmaceutical materials • Operating analytical laboratory equipment • Investigating results and troubleshooting technical issues • Accurate recording and interpretation of laboratory data • Supporting new equipment and process implementationWe''re looking for: • Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science or related subject • Ideally 1-2+ years'' relevant laboratory experience • Previous experience with particle size analysis and microscopy • Experience in XRF, XRD • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills • Pharmaceutical experience would be advantageousImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a ..... full job details .....
