Alongside your compliance responsibilities, there will be the opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge by getting involved in: Trust tax compliance and administration More complex personal tax advisory work Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning Ad hoc tax projects and technical research As this is a smaller independent practice, there is also the opportunity to gain exposure to wider general practice work during quieter periods, including statutory accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
