We are looking for an ambitious Senior Personal Tax Manager to join a growing and dynamic tax team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role with real influence over the development of the practice, while working with a broad and varied client portfolio.

As part of a supportive and progressive team, you will be able to shape your role, contribute to business development, and play a key part in developing the next generation of tax professionals. Your responsibilities as the Personal Tax Senior Manager will include:

• Managing, developing, and expanding the personal tax team, including recruiting and coaching team members.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering trusted advisory services.
• Playing an active role in business development and networking within the local marketplace to expand the firm’s client base.
• Supporting the senior leadership team in delivering strategic objectives for the tax practice.
• Acting as a mentor and leader, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  
  

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are appropriately qualified (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Have significant experience working within a personal tax environment.
• Are confident business developers with a strong network or appetite to build contacts within the local business community.
• Are excellent people managers who enjoy coaching and developing others.
• Are commercially minded and motivated to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the firm.
