Personal Tax Semi Senior/SeniorThe RoleBarber McLelland is working with a leading independent firm of Accountants based in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Semi Senior/Senior to join the firm''s Tax Division.Due to recent restructuring, this newly created position of Personal Tax Semi Senior/Senior will help support a diverse portfolio of clients, this includes High Net Worth Individuals, Entrepreneurial Business Owners, Partnerships and Directors.The business would like to consider individuals with a minimum of 3 years personal tax compliance experience with the ability to manage their own allocation of clients.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Personal Tax Semi Senior/Senior will be responsible for:Providing personal tax compliance services for a varied portfolio of clients, including processing of tax returns, ensuring returns are processed accurately and delivered to agreed service standardsManagement of client information, ensuring businesses submit all appropriate information for the completion of tax returnsEnsure that the client''s tax liability is correctly calculated and the client is advised accordinglyCommunicate directly with clients and HMRC regarding tax compliance matters on the phone and in personEnsure compliance with current legislation and prepare working papersSkills and QualitiesWe are ideally looking for an individual who has a minimum of 3 years personal tax experience working within a firm of accountants.
