A Personal Tax Assistant is needed in Darlington to support the tax department of a professional services firm. You''ll help manage personal tax affairs for clients, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Client Details A forward thinking independent practice offering a wide range of services Description Prepare and submit personal tax returns for a variety of clients. Assist with tax compliance and advisory tasks. Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met. Support senior team members with client queries and correspondence. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation. Identify opportunities for tax planning and efficiencies. Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information. Contribute to the smooth running of the tax department. Profile A successful Personal Tax Assistant should have: Experience in personal tax preparation or a related role. A good understanding of current tax legislation. Strong organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with tax software and standard office applications. Working towards accounting qualifications such as ATT, ACCA, ACA.
