THE ROLE:
A leading London law firm is seeking a newly qualified Solicitor to join their marine defendant, personal injury, travel and regulatory team. The successful candidate will be working with a wide client base within this sector, including ship and yacht owners, operators and insurers, ports, hotel owners and insurers, and cruise lines. In essence, this role involves drafting agreements and defending a range of claims, including personal injury, travel and industrial disease.
THE CANDIDATE:
This firm is welcoming applications from qualified solicitors (NQ – 2 years PQE) who have completed both a law degree/ equivalent and at least one seat within personal injury and/or industrial disease law within their training contract. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be able to confidently handle their own caseload, adopt a pragmatic approach to legal and commercial problem solving, and demonstrate an aptitude for developing new business.
