Personal Care Learning Support AssistantJob Title: Personal Care Learning Support AssistantLocation: North londonSalary: 18-23 Pounds an hour ( Depending On your experience)Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary or PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Learning Support Assistant to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism, and medical needs.This role combines educational support with personal care responsibilities, ensuring learners can access their education safely, comfortably, and with dignity. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive learning experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport learners in classroom, vocational, and enrichment activities.Provide personal care support, including toileting, continence care, changing, and personal hygiene.Assist learners with eating, drinking, and feeding programmes where required.Support students with mobility needs using safe manual handling techniques and specialist equipment.Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and medical protocols.Support learners with communication and social interaction needs.Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in all aspects of college life.Record and report any safeguarding, welfare, or health concerns.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, healthcare ..... full job details .....
