Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Supporting Male Post-16 LearnersLocation: Harborne, BirminghamPay Rate: CompetitiveHours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 4pm Contract: Temporary OngoingStart Date: ASAPThe RoleWe are looking for a caring, patient and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support male learners within a specialist Post-16 education setting.The setting supports young people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, providing a supportive environment where learners can develop their independence, confidence and life skills as they prepare for adulthood.The successful candidate will provide a combination of personal care, physical support and day-to-day assistance, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure learners are supported safely, respectfully and with dignity.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with SEND and wants to make a genuine difference to their daily lives and development.Key Responsibilities Providing respectful and sensitive support with personal care, including toileting, personal hygiene, dressing and other daily living needs. Supporting male learners with their individual care and support requirements throughout the college day. Assisting learners with mobility and physical needs, including moving and handling where required.
