Personal Assistant/Carer Newcastle Pay: £13.45 per hour Hours: 30 or 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent Positions: 2 Closing date: 20th September 2026 We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistants to support adults to live independently in their own homes and communities. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on helping people maintain their independence, make their own choices and enjoy fulfilling lives. The Role As a Personal Assistant, you will provide person-centred support based around each individual''s needs, preferences and goals. Your duties may include: Supporting independence, choice and everyday living skills Providing personal care where required Helping with cooking, cleaning, shopping and household tasks Supporting people to access activities and their local community Providing emotional and social support Supporting health and wellbeing Working with families and healthcare professionals Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures About You We''re looking for someone who is: Caring, compassionate and respectful Reliable, positive and flexible A good communicator Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Committed to promoting dignity, choice and independence Previous care or support experience is beneficial but not essential.
