Personal Assistant
We are looking for an experienced and outgoing Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to the MD and Senior Leadership team in a fast-paced environment for our key client in Birmingham on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract basis to cover Maternity leave.
This is a varied role requiring exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation for the Managing Director and SLT team.
Responsibilities include:
- The Personal Assistant will be managing complex diaries, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Preparing documents, presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
- Organising and minuting meetings, tracking actions, and following up on key deliverables.
- The Personal Assistant will be managing executive inboxes, prioritising correspondence, and handling enquiries professionally.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel, accommodation, and expenses.
- Supporting company events, conferences, exhibitions, and employee engagement activities.
- Liaising with suppliers, visitors, and external partners.
- Assisting with HR administration and wider business projects.
- Coordinating office and facilities-related activities to maintain a professional working environment.
- The Personal Assistant will be handling confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
About You
- Proven experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar supporting an MD, senior leaders or executives.
- Experience working for a Medium to Large organisation and ideally an Engineering / Manufacturing organisation but not essential
- An ability to balance an open door policy with gatekeeping at appropriate times
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive under pressure.

- High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Hours
1 Year Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract - Ideally available immediately
Monday to Thursday - 7:30am - 4:00pm (some flex on start and finish)
Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 1pm
Due to the nature of the business you must be eligible for SC Clearance
