Location: Rugby Town Hall / Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Pay rate: -14.8216.08 per hour

Working hours: 37 hours Monday-Friday

Assignment duration: 3 months temporary with review for extension

Job Purpose:

Provide dedicated, confidential, and efficient secretarial support to the Council''s Mayor and Leadership team ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through proactive diary management, meeting coordination, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting preparation for Leadership Team members.
• Provide administrative support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, including the
  co-ordination of their diaries and engagements, providing prompt responses to invitations for the Mayor/Deputy Mayor to attend functions
• Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including minute-taking and agenda preparation.
• Liaise with charities and third parties as required.
• Receive and answer incoming communication including telephone calls and emails on behalf of Leadership Team
• Support other PAs within the team and handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, health and safety, and council policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Personal Assistant at senior management level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
