The Leaving Care Service supports over 600 care experienced young people each year, working with those aged , and up to 25 in some cases, as they transition from care into independent adulthood. The service plays a vital role in helping young people develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to build positive futures. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home when not undertaking office-based tasks or face-to-face visits. However, regular in-person visits with young people are an essential part of the role and must be carried out in person.As a Personal Advisor, you will work directly with young people leaving care, supporting them to identify and achieve their goals around education, employment, housing, health, and independent living. You will act as a key professional in their lives, providing guidance, advocacy and practical support.This role is central to ensuring young people are supported safely and appropriately, including undertaking assessments of need, managing risk, and leading on safety planning where required. ..... full job details .....
