The Leaving Care Service supports over 600 care experienced young people each year, working with those aged 16–21, and up to 25 in some cases, as they transition from care into independent adulthood. The service plays a vital role in helping young people develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to build positive futures. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home when not undertaking office-based tasks or face-to-face visits. However, regular in-person visits with young people are an essential part of the role and must be carried out in person.
