Personal Advisor - Leavers Service - £16ph

Description:

We are seeking to recruit a Personal Advisor (PA) to work within the Care Leavers Service in Cared for Children.

• The role is to support young people who are leaving care
• PAs work with the young people and offer support to these young people around many areas of their lives:
• Health and Emotional Well-being. GP, Dental and Optical
• Identity: Ethnicity, religion, self-care and presentation.
• Family and social
• Finances: Budgeting and practical skills
• Accommodation
• UASC

Applicants must have experience of working with young people/young adults around and knowledge of the legislation around Care for Children and Care leavers.

Acting as an advocate on behalf of care leavers to ensure their needs are met.
