Permit to Work Supervisor Location: North-East The Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are pleased to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced Permit to Work Supervisor to join their Operations team in the North-East. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Permit to Work professional to take on a key safety-critical position within a high-hazard environment, helping ensure maintenance, project and contractor activities are planned, authorised and executed safely and effectively. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects and contractor teams, you will play a central role in the site''s Permit to Work and Control of Work processes, ensuring activities are appropriately risk assessed, isolated and coordinated without compromising the safe operation of the site The Role As Permit to Work Supervisor, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring work undertaken by maintenance personnel and contractors across the Terminal. You will review and authorise Permits to Work, coordinate potentially conflicting activities and ensure the correct risk assessments, method statements, isolations and safety controls are in place before work begins. The role will also involve contractor assurance, Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO), gas monitoring, confined-space controls and supporting the safe planning of tank cleaning and preparation activities.
