      <description>Location: Speke | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Temporary | Permit Officer    Speke, Liverpool    -54,000 per annum     12-Month Initial    Our client is seeking an experienced  Permit Officer  to join a major operational site in Speke. This is a newly created position, established to centralise and strengthen the site''s Permit to Work (PTW) process. Currently managed across several teams, this role will become the focal point for reviewing, issuing and controlling contractor permits, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across all site activities.  This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can confidently challenge unsafe practices, make sound risk-based decisions and take ownership of high-risk work activities across site. The successful candidate will be empowered to stop work where standards are not met and will play a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture.
