Permit Coordinator
Annual Salary: £30,000 to £35,000Location: Tottenham N17Job Type: Full-time permanent - this is a fully office-based role Monday to Friday. There is no hybrid working.We are seeking a dedicated Permit Coordinator to join a busy organisation in the local area.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the highways industry and a proven track record in managing permit applications and liaising with local authorities.The successful candidate will ensure efficient management of road space bookings and compliance with relevant legislation.Day-to-day of the role:Raise permit applications based on work descriptions for submission to the Highways Authority.Keep all permits and notices updated and ensure works are on track, requesting extensions if needed.Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors to manage road space bookings efficiently.Input and update permitting information using Excel and Teams.Build and nurture relationships with Local Authorities and other stakeholders.Monitor inspections of reinstatement and address any challenges with FPN and inspection data.Required Skills and Qualifications:Prior experience in raising permit applications within the highways industry.Familiarity with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and the London Permit Scheme.Strong organisational and administration skills.Tech Savvy: Proficient in street works management systems; experience with Insight/Symology is a plus.Benefits:28 days holiday including ..... full job details .....
